LOL! It is normal for children at this age, personal items, they need to sleep. My son has a stuffed monster crocodile sleeps "to attack a stuffed beaver Castor, a teddy bear, 2 plastic toy car and a truck full of sleep. You would not believe he would, if a reference is not present, but what he does. You would not think fit, would be in bed with all that, but it works. You are too funny!
